Handsome amber in the tulip. Decent foam and a lightly spritzy mouthfeel. Very light body but full of flavor. It's a big hoppy taste but bitterness is suitable restrained for a mellow mouthful. Brewers rate the IBUs at 58. I don't know what the hops are, but the flavors are resiny and flowery with a pleasant hoppy zing in the aftertaste.
Really a lively and highly quaffable lighter sort of IPA. You could call it a Session Pale Ale if you think the hops are not bitter enough. I think it's a what we need more of-- plenty of flavor in a lower-alcohol brew without taking the hair off your tongue. On tap at the brewpub in North Park.
