Served in nonic. Poured a solid, coal black color with under a half-inch of dark khaki head that had low-moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma was typical for the style, malt dominate with a slight bit of roast in the background. Same on the tongue, except that the roast seems more coffee-like. The body was certainly on the thin side for the style. Drinkability was OK, but the thinness and roast didn't really push my personal buttons. Overall, an OK brew, not worth seeking out, but probably worth a shot if you see it.
