Attractive clear amber color with plenty of foam in the Wander snifter. Something like hops in the nose, a resiny note but not distinct. Taste is mineral, herbal, and dirty. The dank finish shades into the endless bitter night.
Unfortunately this is just too bitter to be very drinkable. You'd think in Washington State that great hops would be yours on the UPS truck strainght from Yakima, even on an island. From he 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth StationIt's a really attractive label; I love that yellow. Dated 07/03/21 on the bottom.

Citrus is definitely the dominant flavor here. Very drinkable. Cloudy amber color with minimal head.

Pours a medium coppery amber with a one finger white head that dissipates slowly to a thick film and ring around the glass. Fresh aroma of citrus, slightly piney hops, light orange and citrus. Flavor is citrus hops, light sweet malt, orange and grapefruit juice. Hops subdued in the initial taste, but develop into the finish, leaving a long, lingering very citrusy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied. A light, refreshing IPA that is very citrus forward. The malt body may be a bit light to support the flavors, but I liked the long finish, which redeemed this ale for me. A nice northwest style IPA that could use a bit more depth and malt balance. I will try some other offerings from this brewery.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy yellow orange color with just a thin cap of white head that had low retention and OK lacing.
The aroma was mostly soft and benign, some citrus hops and no real malts. On the tongue, the citrus hops were very bitter in the middle and on the end. There wasn't anything offering contrast or balance.
The body was a typical medium. Drinkability was OK, but I found the bitter finish bothersome. Overall, a decent enough beer, but one I probably won't revisit anytime soon.
