House ale for Dégagé Jazz Cafe. Served on draft there.
Appears very dark red, good head and retention. Aroma is nice, but a bit for chocolately than a normal red ale. No hop aroma or flavor this is a malty red. Has some characteristics of a brown ale or porter, slightly toasty. Fuller bodied for a red ale.
