Gold in color (duh) with a bit of unfiltered haze. A finger of frothy head tops the body and refuses to subside, leaving scattered webs of lacing clinging to the glass.
The nose is floral, semi-sweet, yeasty, doughy. Light diacetyl and stone fruit esters complement the bready pale malt backbone nicely.
Hops come through above all else on the palate. Floral, slightly spicy and tea-like. Mild bitterness. The yeast brings a hint of apricot and a touch of buttery softness. Doughy malt supports the hops and yeast.
Thoroughly enjoyable, an easy drinker with some great late addition hop flavor.
