Originally reviewed September 17, 2005. On tap at the Big Lake Brewfest. Sharp band aid rubber aroma, and itÂ’s not infected. Hazy golden pour. Overly bad and scary rubber flavor. Hexanes flow. Esters reek. I get the feeling that this beer was fermented way too warm with some hellish combination of heavily phenolic Belgian yeasts. Nothing to balance the yeast character out. It bites and hurts.
