From notes from my trip back home. I assume the name has more to do the legendary "brown mountin lights" semi-near by. See a book called "Ghosts of the Carolinas" by nancy roberts as I recall...
Pours light golden with a 1/2" white head with minimal head retention & lacing
S: Slight wheat malt & floral notes
T: Hint of floral hps, wheat malt& not much else. Fisnishes fruitty & sprittzy
MF: Sprittzy, light bodied & underhopped
Drinks okay, a pretty pedestrian wheat ale. Has lost a little something from x-mas of 04

Pours a clear and faint golden color with a very thin head and spotty lacing. Smell is a faint pop corn smell. Taste is bready and buttery. Mouthfeel is thin. Overall this is a weak beer in the same class as most macros. There are much better offerings from OHB.

This beer was straw in color with minimal head. The smell was of watered down corn. The taste was not quite there. Not a bad taste, simply not much taste at all. The mouthfeel was allright, a little harshness in the aftertaste. The drinkability was actually fair. It is a light beer after all. I think this is one of the beers brewed for the macro crowd that comes to the Taproom. If you like macro's, this would be a better choice.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
