It comes to the table a brown in appearance with ruby hues. Very clear in color with little to no head to speak of, what was there is gone soon after. Low carbonation on this one. Smell is of malty sweetness. Caramel, toffee, and a nutty scent that is very light. Taste is much of the same but the nut flavors become more prominent along with a good buttered toast flavor. It's mainly sweet with even a touch of fruity tartness at times but the nutty flavors and toasted bread add a good depth. It tastes fine to me but has no body whatsoever. Light, almost thin actually. Seems like water on the tongue. Drinkability is decent. It tastes like it should, just off in a few key spots which hinders this one.
