Pours a light golden with little to no head, lacking in carbonation just a tad. You can tell this Summer Ale is indeed a Kristalweizen by taking a whiff. Banana, clove, orange, coriander. Taste is much of the same, pretty on point for the style. Again, lacking in carbonation, not as crisp and refreshing as you'd hope and almost flat feeling. All this aside, it's just a decent brew and thankfully not representative of what OHB has to offer.

Pours an effervescent straw color with a 1" white head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Big banana & fruit notes
T: Bananas & fruit up front. Bubblegum follows. Finishes fruitty with banana peel notes
MF: Light body with good carbonation
A pretty easy drinking kristalweizen, not my favorite style, but this goes down easy on a hot NC summer's eve

This beer was probably my least favorite of all OHB beers. The color was like a light beer. It was very clear. The smell was citrusy. The taste was sour and had a harshness to it. The mouthfeel was lasting sourness and twang that I just did not like. The drinkability was not good. I won't have this beer again. There are much better OHB offerings.
