Gemünder Brauerei "Krönes Eifeler Landbier"
€2,90/,3L vom fass @ Bier Museum, Köln, DE on 27.09.21
Look: Very hazy, and almost cloudy, gold in color beneath a full head of dense white foam. The head retention and lacing are excellent with rings of thick lace left behind after each sip.
Smell: Fruity and floral with a hint of grass over a basic, grainy malt.
Taste: Bitter with grainy and bready malt, and an apple and pear-like fruitiness. Firm to strng bitterness. Nicely balanced with a lingering dry and bitter finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp with a seemingly natural, very fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: Charming, pleasant, and quite drinkable en mass.

Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized head.
Smells of leafy, herbal hops, straw and dough malts.
Has a light body among a sparkly carbonation, which makes this truly refreshing.
Tastes of wet grass, wrapped up by straw and a well integrated toffee note. During the mid palate toffee gets an earthy licorice punch, which fades immediately during the finish, in which a nice dryness rolls over the tongue.
Very tasty Landbier in which the hops play a more important role then the malts, completed by the addition of young straw. This creates a rustic, yet light bodied beer, finding its strengh in its ability that you can't stop gulping it.

A light golden colour, with foam that quickly evaporates. A light smell of malt. The taste is subtly malty, earthy, with hints of lemon. Not a lot of taste complexity going on here, but I must say this is a pretty refreshing beer. Enjoy one on the terrace when you're in a Bierkeller in the German Eifel for the right amount of context.

Not too bad to sip on in the sun. One of those beers you drink at an outdoor table in the middle of the Markt in a random German city.
Very Hazy pour with slight head.
Smells of bread, malts, and pineapple.
Taste is almost Pilsnerish, but less metallic. A lot more malts.
Mouthfeel is heavy but light at the same time. Chalk it up to landbier's unfiltered nature.
Overall decent beer, but it tasted better on the veranda at Kings College in Aachen.

Very pale yellow color reminds me a lot of a belgian witbeer. The smell is very nice and subtle: apple, pineapple, malt, passion fruit and citrous notes. Tastes malty with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Very nice and pleasant.

Yellowish color, slightly hazy.
Lots of snow white foam.
Very subtle nose and aroma.
Relatively thick mouthfeel, slightly sweetish, malty body, soft carbonation, little bit of citrus notes.
Slightly spicy, rounded aftertaste. Screams for more, refreshing, yet not one dimensional or without its subtle moments.
For the region excellent. Perfectly ballanced, an easy quaffing beer, which i know from experience.

Served in a Sweetwater mini-snifter.
Gotta love it when you walk in, greet people, and are immediately told you have to tick this ostensibly bad beer. Damn reputations... Anyway, this stuff pours a lightly-hazy straw topped by over a finger of cream-white foam. The nose comprises grass, light wheat, and very light coriander. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a small bit of what I can only describe as cream. The body is a light medium, with a very light moderate carbonation and a slightly creamy feel. Overall, a decent little zwick'l, nothing great, but something I can easily see enjoying in ze Fazerland on vacation or something.
