On tap at the brewery.

Look: Dark brown with a very slight tan head that rather quickly reduced to a foam ring leaving a little lacing.

Nose: A bit of dark malt and caramel.

Attack: Follows the nose pretty closely, just slightly thin in flavor.

Finish: Slight hop bitterness to balance.

Mouthfeel: Medium, sufficient carbonation.

Overall: Doesn’t knock my socks off, but quite acceptable and drinkable.

Not sure if this was an old can but there was nothing pleasant in the couple of sips I took before pouring it out. I'll go straight 3s in case there was something funky going on here.

Redish rootbear color with ample head that dissipates into a light layer of bubbles. Slightly subtle smells of malt and bread. Properly sweet bock flavors that taste quite good. Not too heavy, medium body. A nice bock.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This old classic pours a dark ruby tinged brown with a
fantastic head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thick film, and shows some
nice lacing. Nose of caramel and chocolate with hints of raisin. Flavors exceed the muted
nose with coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, raisin bread, and subtle cherry hints. Nice mouth
feel; medium light body, medium teetering on medium light carbonation, and a toasted malt
finish with a touch of zesty hops.

Overall---very nice!

Cheers

16oz can from the brewery.
Pours a clear amber color with a thick off white head, good retention.
Nose doesn't pick up much.
Caramel chocolate notes and a clean finish. Medium body, good carbonation. I like it!
