Sweet stout featuring deep-roasted barley malt. It’s dark and dangerously delicious!

On tap at the brewery.
Look: Dark brown/ black with a half inch tan head with good retention, eventually receding to a foam ring with more than adequate lacing.
Nose: Dark roast and milk chocolate.
Attack: Follows the nose closely.
Finish: Starts out with a very nice bitterness to balance, but then unfortunately degrades into a lingering astringent aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium, maybe a bit overcarbonated.
Overall: So much of this beer is good to very good. If Wiedemann can do something to reduce the astringent aftertaste, they’ve got a winner.
