Basically a traditional doppelbock with a little more smoke and caramel sweetness in the taste. Decent body with bit of creamy texture in the foam. The smell was malt and not much else with hint of caramel. Good, would have again in right circumstance

Taste: nice slightly smoked malt, some hops, semi sweet, well rounded. Robust toasted malt nose. Brown, mostly clear, with a tan head and nice lace. Medium body. Close to traditional style. 21 IBUs
