Decent....it's even for a Belgian ipa...drinkable. not a lot of aroma beyond the Belgian sugars.

Nevin's IPA is billed on their beer list as a Belgian IPA, so that's the angle I'm reviewing it from.
A: The beer arrived in a shaker pint glass with a deep gold hue and a wispy eggshell head. The foam stuck around for a bit and left bits of lace behind.
S: Citrus hops dominate the nose. Grapefruit and lemon are right out front as you'd expect with the classic "C" hops. Behind the citrus is a touch of honey.
T: Pretty standard IPA stuff here. A light honey sweetness gets things going. Bitterness follows shortly thereafter with a citrus bite that's just strong enough to cross the Pale to IPA line. The bitterness lingers into the finish along with some residual sweetness.
M: The beer's body really lets things down. I found it to be thin and under carbonated.
O: If this beer were presented as an American IPA, I'd rate it as a middle of the road take on the style. As a Belgian IPA, I'm not feeling it. Belgian beers tend to be yeast driven, and I didn't pickup any of the clues that most Belgian strains leave behind. Overall, it's a decent beer, but not one I'd go back to.
