The traditional easy drinking, malt-balanced brown lager style of Munich. Dark copper with complex, deeply bready-toasty aroma and flavor and hints of nut and chocolate produced from an extended kettle boil.

Had on tap at the brewery. Pours a reddish-brown, dark copper color with light tan foam. Aroma is bread and water. Taste is malty biscuit lager. Crisp and easy drinking, good on a hot day outside. Spritzy, watery, and light bodied. Overall the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Hit my basic expectation for the style.

Enjoyed in a lager glass poured from tap at the brewery. Poured at dark brown with an inch of head. Smelled of toasted malt breadiness, notes of toffee and chocolate. Tasted pure malty yummy as I would expect from the style. Mouthfeel pretty average somewhat normal of malty beer but at the end the pleasant aftertaste of a fine beer. I will return many times for this beer.

This poured out looking really good. A light shade of brown, almost like a brown ale and formed a slight crown. But it just happened to be way too thin on the body and flavor for me.
