Bock pours a dark amber color, with a very small, barley lacing head. Sweet and sugary aroma. Flavor is lighter, but on the sweet side. Lots of toasted sugar notes, with a mellow malty backbone and hints of maple. Good body and feel. Overall, a little lighter, and much sweeter for a bock.

Welcome back to my New Hoosier Daddy Beer Sunday (Week 738)! I am CANtinuing with CANs from IndiCANa, courtesy of @AyatollahGold & @jkblr both of whom have recently hooked me up, Hoosier style. It will be a CANner, not banner, day for The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "Authentic*Traditional*Lager"; "A smooth, easy drinking German lager that emphasizes malty, toasty, rich aromas and flavors. Prost!"; "Brewing eclectic, aggressively fun beers is not for the timid. Fortunately, the only thing we like better than a challenge is drinking the end result."; "2017 & 2018 Indiana Brewers Cup Grand Champion Brewery Indiana Brewery of the Year".
Now, we are getting into the teeth of the day! These guys are definitely Lager brewers & this should be a really good example of the style. The only way to find out, though, was to Crack! open the vent & begin a slow, gentle C-Line Glug. I watched in rapt fascination as it performed a pseudo-cascade that eventually resulted in just under two fingers of fizzy, foamy, rocky, deep-tan/light-brown head with modest retention. Saying that its color was Coppery-Brown (SRM = > 17, < 22) with NE-quality clarity would not do it justice. Mahogany would be a better word. 8=O Gorgeous! Nose was rich, toasty, malty & now, my mouth was watering in CANticipation! 8=O Mouthfeel was medium to full, not quite creamy, but definitely big for a Lager. 8=O The taste was like liquified nut bread! Mmm. It was nutty, bready, definitely malt-driven & a reminder in the week before Easter as to why monks drank & referred to it as "liquid bread". Specifically, walnuts in brown bread. Mmm. Think B&B Brown Bread in a CAN. Mmm. Man, I am suddenly REALLY hungry! Some B&B Brown Bread with a schmear of PHL cream cheese would hit the spot. Meanwhile, this beer is simply deeee-lish! I know that @jkblr has asked me to send some Bocks in return, but I CANnot think of any that will measure up. 8=( I feel unworthy in the face of this beer! Finish was semi-sweet, malty but not cloying, with a pronounced nuttiness that was utterly sustaining. Get some of this, if you CAN!

16oz canned 2/28/19 (38 days ago) purchased cold at the brewery and poured into a 500mL mug at fridge temp. 7.2% ABV 25 IBU per brewery, but the can is not labeled. The beer pours bright ruby tinted medium brown in color with light brown head. The head recedes to a film and thin ring. A few spots of lacing are left on the glass. The aroma is rich with nutty toasted malt. The taste is more semisweet toasted malt up front transitioning to a mildly bitter, nutty, toasted raisin bread finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. Cleanly lagered with no off scents or tastes. Overall, very good.
