Orange hued, yellow-brown color. Ample white head. Taste is honeydew melon and mellow stone fruit, alcohol sweetness, biscuit, lemon zest, and a noticeable but not aggressive amount of floral pine and resin on the aftertaste. The hop profile is less aggressive than their other IPA’s like Lift Off or Rip Cord. Ample but medium level of carbonation, medium mouthfeel, creamy and a bit dry. Just enough bitterness to keep the sweetness from becoming cloying. Overall well balanced and enjoyable but not memorable.

From a 16 oz. can into a Daredevil Willi Becher style glass, this beer pours out slightly hazy, not full blown NEipa, more of a unfiltered and dry hopped west coast ipa. Three fingers of off white crown sit on top.
The nose brings pungent citrus and tropical notes mixing with a nice sweetness (almost vanilla, orange creamsicle like)
The taste is much of the same. A nice mix of hops, sweetness and even slight, bready malt. Touch of citrus and tropical fruits.
Nice sweetness, nice touch of bitterness.
Overall, a well crafted and balanced brew.

Welcome back to my New Hoosier Daddy Beer Sunday (Week 738)! I am CANtinuing with CANs from IndiCANa, courtesy of @AyatollahGold & @jkblr both of whom have recently hooked me up, Hoosier style. It will be a CANner, not banner, day for The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "An American IPA showcases our love of aggressively hopped beers."; "Brewing eclectic, aggressively fun beers is not for the timid. Fortunately, the only thing we like better than a challenge is drinking the end result."; "Featured Hops: Citra (Cryo), Mosaic (Cryo) Fermentables: American 2-Row Barley, Maris Otter, Flaked Oats, White Wheat, CaraHell, CaraRed".
I am SO in love with Daredevil B.C.! It just seems like they CAN do no wrong. Of course, the only way to find out was to Crack! open the vent on this latest CAN from them. I CANtinued with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug that still resulted in a pseudo-cascade, a lot of foaming & the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with decent retention. Color was a beautiful Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, inspiring The Gelt Gang of Croesus, Midas & Mammon to jump up from my couch & come running into the kitchen for a taste. They have been here all weekend to watch hockey on TV. To recap, MN-Duluth won a CANsecutive Frozen Four; USA Women won IIHF Gold & the Stanley Cup playovs are in high gear. Nose was slightly tropical fruity, but tempered with a pleasant bitterness. I might have said Simcoe, but it is not listed. Hmm. Mouthfeel was big, thick & full, more like a DIPA. The taste was very pleasant - honeydew melon, papaya, mango, but with a tang that I simply would have sworn was Simcoe. Citra?!? It didn't have the standard citrusy bitterness that might be expected. Hmm. I would have liked a bit more bitterness in that case. Finish was dry, slightly bitter & highly satisfying. YMMV.

16oz canned 3/28/19 (9 days ago) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp. 8% 90 IBU per brewery. The beer pours very slightly hazy golden amber in color with abundant off white head. The head recedes slowly to a firm cap and leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is impressive and mildly dank with berry, peach and melon notes. The taste is fruity and dank over subtle sweetness. There is real pale malt presence up front and a solid, but not overpowering final bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium plus in body with a smooth texture, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. Overall, excellent. Great IPA. Recommended
