A delicate Belgian perfume of pears and apples compliments complex spicy phenolics and lightly sweet alcohol with an inspiring clean, bright finish.

Quite a nice, basic Belgian golden pale from a local Indiana brewer. While I generally like Daredevil's IPAs for their bold flavor profiles, this takes a more subtle but no less admirable approach. Distinctly floral in its primary notes, Muse layers some light fruity sweetness and mild Belgian esters; rather than smacking you in the palate with flavor, this has more of a European sensibility.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a goblet glass.
Beer is clear with very little crown. The color of the brew looks exactly like an apple juice.
The smell is almost like apple juice as well. With some pear and some earthy spice.
The taste is spicy with the apple still being prominent. A lot of light fruit coming through for me.
The mouthfeel starts off really wet and juicy almost like biting into an apple but finishes dry.
Overall, nice strong golden.

Poured from a growler straight from Daredevil's Tap Room into a snifter. Look is a hazy golden yellow with white head. Smell is apples, apricots, and Belgian yeast. Taste is apples, yeast, candy sugar, coriander, peaches, hops and grapes. Very smooth mouthful, lightly carbonated, medium feel. Very complex beer overall.
Beer looks good, smells great, and has a good taste too. This is a great Belgian Ale, and best of all brewed within a few miles of my house! Daredevil has a good beer here and I highly recommend it.

16oz can: this one pours a clear light golden color. There was about no head or lacing to it. An interesting nose. Malty, with hints of white wine grapes and apples. The taste is good. Leaning to a fuller body, with a sweet silky texture. Getting the apples and white wine flavors with the malts. Pretty decent brew!

When rating I was having a hard time not giving upper 4s or 5s. This beer hits all the hallmarks of a Belgian ale...clear, very clear and golden straw color. Nose of green apple and maybe a hint of apricot. The fruity notes coupled with the alcohol tell me this is a well brewed beer. The abv is high but hidden really well and I got it in a pint can I recall under 3.50$! So why am I questioning why it's not the best Belgian I've ever had? Hard to say. But I'm very pleased with my first taste of what Daredevil has to offer.

This is just not a style I have ever enjoyed, I keep trying them hoping to find one I like, but there is just something about the finish I did not like on this one. It was almost soapy.

A - Golden body, mostly clear, with a medium white head. Lacing is present but not expansive.
S - Fruity. White wine. Grapes. Apples. And a definite hint of alcohol.
T - Like the nose, but with greater depth. A back end with some lingering mild minerality. A note of honey. Lots of apple.
M - Given that the beer is over 8%, the feel is surprisingly light and easy. Carbonation is bright. Close is pretty clean.
O - A pleasure. A very fruity take, with lots of great esters, showing great results from the yeast. Very well done.

Aroma is floral and apple dominant, with notes of peach. Slight malt sweetness.
Flavor is spicy, with clove and almost cinnamon notes upfront, finishing laden with apple and peach. Pepper lingers.
