served in a snifter on tap.
A - Very dark amber/ruby with a 1 finger sandy tan head. Lacing is minimal.
S - Plenty of malts, layered caramel, toffee, roasted and dark fruit notes. Does not have a strong aroma.
T - Flavors of roasted malts, caramel, and toffee. It is somewhat bready with dark fruit. All the flavors are light and not very full, also has a mild finish.
M - Moderate carbonation and a light body.
O - Somewhat let down with this beer. It was brewed more as a lighter summer beer and not a full on Scotch Ale.
