I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I drank it whilst moving my oldest in her new apartment for her JR year of College. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle pine and bitter citrus hops. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with good mix of pine and bitter fruit. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Bottle from Woodman's in Madison, poured into pint glass two weeks later. Hazy, fairly dark in color. Glad how common NEIPAs are now. Not the best

12oz beer can
this is good beer. the beer masks the alcohol with another type of poison: hops! these hop things taste really really good. here they are tropical and juicy and all that. as it warms you can taste more of the alcohol
good drink

12oz bottle. No dating information found.
Translucent, deep gold colored body. Slight off white head with the pour. Leaves behind some spots of lacing.
Aroma wafts from the glass to a distance of a couple of feet from the glass. Big woody, citrus, fruity hops.
Taste is mostly from the hops with flavors of tangerine, melon, orange, and a bit of pith. Has a under bite of minor bitterness. Seems like there is some malts in the background.
Thinner mouth feel. Very good carbonation. Leaves some hop burn on the tongue and the top of the mouth.
Mouth feel is lacking in stamina, while the hop flavors are varied but balanced. Overall okay but not memorable.

I get a kick out of the artwork used for this companies brews. Their beers have not disappointed. This one poured at 41 Degrees into a Libby craft brew glass. displaying a cloudy, amber color and a creamy white head. Nice balance between the hops and malts, though more hop forward. clean finish. Will keep a few in the beer fridge for others to try.

Finger plus of nicely dense foam, off-white with an orange tint, lightly uneven surface, wispy lacing. Amber orange colored liquid, there’s a fine particulate throughout, hardly any visible bubbles, translucent and closer to transparent. There’s a metallic, earthy edge to the nose, unprocessed grains, like it’s giving you the Heisman, moderate tangerine citrus as well as pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, just tarry and earthy, not coming across as a typical NE IPA. In the mouth it’s medium-bodied, dry, curiously given the optics the carbonation is pretty high. The white grapefruit to orange citrus more obvious here, short lived as the tarriness and dankness fill the mid-palate to finish. As in the nose, the fruit has a tropical character but close to zero juiciness, pineapple, papaya, guava dried out, not dried fruit. Overall, there’s a fair bit going on but it doesn’t cohere, or at least not in a way you’d want it to. (Bottled 5/23/19)

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. Cloudy golden orange with a 2 finger white head. Fades into a thin ring and leaves behind thick webs of lacing. Hops are upfront and fruity with tropical and bitter citrus notes. I do pick up some earthiness along with hints of malt. There is more light fruit that transitions into a very bitter grapefruit and pine. I pick up some herbal, floral, and earthiness, along with minimal sweetness from malts. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Not exactly what I would classify as a NEIPA.
