If you're not from Wisconsin, Kwik Trip is a regional convenience store chain, but not just any c-store, the very best c-store you have ever been in. They are always clean, bright, and well stocked. The coffee is hot and fresh, and the donuts never have fruit fly's. I've driven all over the country and they are the best c-store chain by far guaranteed. I'm from La Crosse Wisconsin and here there is literally one on every corner. It's really kind of funny, no one even tries to compete. Well I know they try hard to have pride in what they sell but cmon its a gas station with some food and a beer cave so I was skeptical when they partnered with Karben4 to put out this series of beers. Wrongo, this stuff is great beer. I'm not real sure anymore what IPA means there is so much range in the style but the Hotspot Hazy is fruity and juicy and sweet and mild and nice and delicious. Best of all it comes in a 4x16oz pack for $6.99, sometimes $5.99. You can spend twice as much but I'm not sure why you would.

Hot Spot pours a bright hazy, cloudy color, with a very small, lacing head. Very sweet aroma, filled with natural orange notes. Flavors is very fruity, lots of citrus fruit flavors, a tad of bitterness. Good body and feel. Overall a very sweet NEIPA, lots of fruits come forward.

I picked up a couple of 4 packs from their curbside pickup. Got it home and cracked a can immediately. Fantastic! When describing it to a buddy, I stated it was somewhere between Toppling Goliath's Pompei and Creature Comforts TROPICALIA! Amazing beer. I happened to order it over the phone and Zak was my contact. He told me over the phone that his brewery was extremely proud of Hot Spot! They should be, as it's fantastic!

A- Hazy yellow. Sort of like pineapple juice.
S- Dank is my favorite word to describe a good NEIPA. Tropical fruit and citra hops fill the nose as soon as you crack the can. Love it every time.
T- Sweet forward, sweet but slightly dry bitter finish. A great combination. Pineapple, pear, and mango.
M- Easy drinking but slight sting on the tongue. Drank ice cold it keeps you wanting more.
O- I love Wisconsin. I love Kwik Trip. I love Karben. The Kwik Series collab is marketing genius. This is a great hazy that reminds me a lot of Toppling's Pompeii. I’m very happy that Karben has a great NEIPA and I hope there’s more to come this summer.
