Hints of roasted malt, caramelized sugar, and chocolate; which all compliment the Madagascar vanilla beans we use in the brewing process.

Grunt fill at Winco. Dark murky brown, creamy tan head. Aroma is initially chocolate, then some vanilla, then the rich roast grains. Taste is more of the same coupled with a smooth, silky, slightly chewy body. Finishes sweet, but not cloying. Very late evidence of the ABV.

Not exactly pitch black but a deep dark brown with a good enough khaki head with nice lacing and retention... Pretty thick body... honestly feels like a nitro tap... Cocoa and sweetish vanilla are accentuated by a background malty sweetness.. really smooth and clean maltiness.. I normally don't care for vanilla beers, but it works in this setting.
