Taster at brewery. Body is right, head could be fluffier. A bit on the sweet side for a weizen, all of the normal hefe elements, but nothing exceptional.

I am not a huge hefeweizen fan, but this beer really surprised me. The first surprise was the coloring...no cloudiness at all...clear pale yellow. The next shock was the nose...a very spicy or clove aroma. I was intrigued by this and couldn't wait to taste it.
The flavor is just like the aroma, a spicy/clove flavor that is not subtle but a little in your face. I loved it. It is one of the more unique flavored hefeweizen beers I have tasted. It is not a traditional German hefeweizen so be fair warned...but it is a very tasty beer that I can recommend.

Stopped in at the brewery today and got a growler fill .... poured into my small hefe glass.... Rocky white head drops pretty quickly but leaves decent lacing... the brew is a hazy golden.
The nose is grainy with more clove than banana..
Flavor is more balanced between the phenols and esters... nicely done, but could use a little more punch IMO.. the a little more banana and clove would make it seem a bit more Continental.
Body is maybe a touch thick, but that is to be expected with the bigger ABV.
Pretty well done... This is my first brew from Kilted Dragon... Hope to see them do well.
