Notes / Commercial Description:
1-800-COLLABO! We've teamed up with Monkish to bring you Dial Up the Seven Digits, a juicy Double IPA brewed with muscat grape juice. Combining the recipes for Dialed In (our Double IPA brewed with various wine grape juices) and Monkish's Dial the Seven Digits Double IPA, DUT7D is a harmonious marriage of dank hop flavors and smooth, subtle muscat juice. Papaya, grape, peach, and fresh woody pine tease the nose. The palate conjures powerful flavors of papaya juice and tropical fruit with a creamy mouthfeel and wheat finish.

MALT: Pilsner. Golden Promise, Malted Oats, Dextrine, Caramalt 15, Flaked Wheat

HOPS: Galaxy, Cashmere

Trillium dominates and this is one of the reasons why! Excellent beer!

IPA with Muskrat Juice. I mean Muscat.

So the appearance...five. It's just gorgeous - muddy and murky, like OJ with flour mixed in. Still retains a brightness but it's completely opaque and no light is penetrating. The brightness is just natural brightness. The head is 1/2 finger and recedes to a thin ring. Wow.

I smell what I'm assuming is the Muscat Juice because I can't quite put a finger on this note. Behind that, it's grapefruit, honey, and fresh lemon in that order. Some peaches. Light perfume, but a pleasant, acidic one.

Flavor is just incredible. So soft, yet so acidic. Fresh grapefruit, followed by orange juice, chunked mango, that new and exciting muscat flavor, papaya, and a resiny, lemony bitterness that's not too intense but hearkens more on the side of seedy lemonade. Some alcohol heat begins to surface as the beer warms up.

Feel is resiny and oily with an electrifying carbonation, leading up to a hot, dry finish.

Overall, more please. This beer is insane.

Trying to get caught up on ratings. Thought this was very meh. Seemed overhyped and just didn't deliver what I was expecting considering the breweries that collab'd on this.
