Pours a cloudy, gold/maize color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of alcohol, yeast, strong hops, citrus hops, and a hint of pine. Fits the style of an American Double / Imperial IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a strong bitterness. Tastes of alcohol, earthy malt, strong citrus hops, slight floral hops, hint of grass, and slight sweet malt. Overall, hop-centric, very bitter, good appearance, complex body, but the earthiness/grass flavors are not pleasant.
