A - Pitch black pour with a moderately thick dark toffee colored, creamy ring, very viscous on the sides of the glass with major legs.
S - Dark roasted chocolate, spicy rye and bourbon, alcohol, delicate char.
T - Spicy char and bourbon from start to finish, oak, cream, dark roasted chocolate. Alcohol effervescence permeates up through the sinuses.
M - Full bodied, velvety, slippery, creamy textured.
O - Bold and flavorful, the Rye dominates and needs to be dialed back a little. However, I would have never guessed this beer to be 17.5%.
