Aroma is dominated by grapefruit and pine, with floral hop notes adding complexity. Malt is biscuity.

Flavor reveals a lightly sweet malt backbone to counter muddled citrus upfront, becoming resiny bitter and earthy in the aftertaste.

Conquest Brewing Sacred Heart IPA
On tap into a pint glass

A: dark golden, translucent, 1 finger white head that has decent retention and leaves a good amount of lacing. 4

S: muted aroma, some floral hops and a bit of malt, subtle citrus as it warms 3.25

T: good balance of malt and hops, floral, decent amount of bitterness 3.75

M/D: medium body, heavier carbonation, drinkability is average 3.75

O: average IPA, worth drinking but I probably wouldn't get it again if there were other craft option 3.5

Very little flavor on front and back. I expected more from an American Pale Ale. Highly disappointing.
