This English Style Barleywine is a formidable beer. We threw almost everything in the grain bin plus 50 lbs. of Honey into this one beer producing a luscious, one of a kind sipper! Grain Bin Barleywine was brewed in March 2011 and has been aging all summer long. It’s time to hit the Grain Bin!

Poured from growler into pint glass.

A- Clear, deep amber to brown color. Thin head

S- Good malty nose. Light hop.

T- Malty sweetness comes to the front. Light alcolohol and bitterness set in as sweetness fades.

M- Thick, Heavy, Light carbonation lends to smooth sticky mouthfeel.

O- Great Barleywine

I'm not a big barleywine fan, but this one was very drinkable. While malt seemed to dominate i wouldn't call it unbalanced. Just a great beer that I hope they brew again.
