According to The Wurst Place (where I had this on tap), Mind Funk is a "coffee white stout" and the ABV is listed as 7.7. It's a blonde beer with lots of lacing. Not much aroma to speak of. The flavor is coffee and Belgian yeast, with maybe a little bit of smokiness. I don't get why anyone has called this a stout. Even if I close my eyes (and therefore ignore the appearance), there's nothing about the taste or aroma of this beer that seems like a stout. It's more like a Belgian pale ale infused with coffee. And it's pretty tasty ... just don't look for a stout!

A "golden stout" I drank on draft at Harbor Public House on Bainbridge Island.
It drank like a localized version of "Master of Disguise" by Stone. Great stuff, I paired it with oysters on the half-shell. Lucky for me, I got the last glass before the keg kicked. If you see it, give it a try.
Sight- honey gold with a stark white head
Smell- coffee and chocolate, nearly undetectable hops
Taste- Much like the aroma, very drinkable. I don't know the abv, but I suspect relatively low.
Feel- Lush, rich, creamy
Overall- Like I said in my preface, great local version of a burgeoning style the "golden stout."
