On tap at RPAB
Completely black pour with a creamy tan head.
Espresso aroma hits your first, then a bit of dark chocolate and roasted malts.
Tons of perfectly brewed espresso with some semi-sweet chocolate. A great malt backbone with zero bitterness.
Mouthfeel was as silky smooth as it gets. By far the smoothest schwarzbier I've ever had.
Could drink this all day, every day. Easily a contender for best in class!

Poured into an RPAB Glass
A-Black as night with a nice tan head with great lacing on the glass
S-Exteme notes of cocoa and coffee come forth
T-Right up front you have some very roasty coffee and chocolate and some dark fruit on the end
M-The oatmeal used in the brew has given this beer an incredible mouthfeel. Velvety smooth with perfect amount of carbonation.
I think this was a one off as it is a lower abv scwhwarzbier than RPAB Doppel or triple schwarz that they produce. Again, this beer blows away all other of the style and the nail has been hit right on the head with this beer. Seek out the new schwarz that had toasted oak soaked in bourbon added
