2-row, Golden Promise, Wheat and Oats provide the backdrop for the cacophony of citrus and tropical notes from the ridiculous amount of Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo in this beer. Lush grapefruit, mandarin orange, lychee, papaya, the works.
A beer that's as much fun to say as it is to drink.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy medium gold with a nice fluffy off-white head. Great lacing! Initial imression is tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, and earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Not quite soft enough to qualify as a NEIPA, but close. Finish fades to a citrus sweetness. Overall, a very enjoyable IPA.

Canned this month according to the sticker on the 4-pack. Buying blind, never heard of these folks. Going by the attractive dating and pricing.
Dang this is tasty, I might buy better with my eyes closed than open. I'd call this a New England IPA. Opaque, muddy straw colored body and so much juiciness. Lots of candy-like orange and mango plus some underlying dank pithy-ness make for quite a treat. Recommended!

After years serving Baltimore-area home brewers (I’m not one), and what seemed like a decades-long wait (slight exaggeration) for their Hampden-neighborhood brewery to open, Nepenthe the brewery finally debuted around two weeks ago. Just made my first visit and was blown away by this delicious beer. LOVED it! It’s New Englandy and beautifully balanced. First impression is that it’s as good as anything a hophead like me has enjoyed from a local brewery. Looking forward to returning ASAP to confirm.
