Brewed with barley, wheat, rye, oats, and just a touch of honey malt, we hammered this beer with Galaxy, Motueka, and Simcoe and double dry-hopped it with the same blend. Big notes of juicy tropical fruit, papaya, kumquat, and dank green tones are rounded out by a pillowy soft finish. The Space Jellyfish roams its alien landscape.

Enjoyed this one on draught the other day.
Hazy straw colored with a fairly dense head, and spotty layered lacing all the way to the bottom.
The nose is seems a little light on aroma.
And the blended malt flavor is complimented by a citrusy, mild grapefruit flavor and mild bitterness.
A pretty solid hazy IPA.

From the small can, it pours a hazy amber color with a modest, though thick, just off-white head that slowly reduces. Lacing. The nose gets a nice citrusy scent, followed by the mouth getting a nice blast of citrusy malt with a mild slightly citrusy and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Poured chilled into a 16oz pint glass. 1/2" off-white head that lingers, albeit thin. Some lacing on the glass. Appearance is hazy pale gold.
Aroma is pineapple and grapefruit, some faint malty tones are present.
Taste is close to the aroma with tropical fruit being predominant. Mild dank hoppiness. Minimal bittering.....more sweetness lingers after any hoppy bitters fade.
Mouthfeel is light-medium with medium carbonation. Sort of thin on the tongue if I'm being honest.
Overall not a bad rendition of a NEIPA. Drinkable and not overly filling.

12 ounce can poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
7.1% ABV

L: Hazy straw, suspended sediment, 1” white head, creamy foam has good retention,
S: Hoppy pineapple and grapefruit,
T: Juicy hop opening sharpens pretty quick, stone fruit, grapefruit pulp and zest, bitterness is checked by mildly sweet pale malt.
F: Light-medium body, high carbonation, fairly soft with some edges.
O: Good, perhaps a touch light for style and ABV.

Received a can from my poker buddy who picked up on his drive back from New York state on 1-22-24. No canning date; consumed 3-31-24. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured golden orange with a very nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.

Nose is nice, getting notes of tropical and citrus fruits after swirling my glass around. I think the nose is fading cause i had some at poker back in January and it was more vibrant.

Taste is nice as a lighter pale malt base blends well with white wine, gooseberry, and a touch of orange. Finishes with a nice pine hop; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and very refreshing.

Overall i can see this being better fresher, glad to have tried.

L: massive head formed in standard pint glass. Hazy golden color. Some bubbling slowly from bottom to top. This is a very thick beer. Lacing tenaciously holds on all the way to the top. Unfiltered? Yes :)
S: sweet pine mixed with pineapple
T: piney hops with malt complexity coming on in the middle. Smooth floral/citrus finish
F: balanced. Carbonation settles during the pint
O: excellent beer that manages the malt-hop interplay expertly.

Appearance: Opaque gold with floaties. Small white head, Good lacing.
Aroma: Tropical fruit, mango, berries. Citrus, including lime, in the background.
Taste: Tropical fruit still predominant. A bit of stone fruit. Supportive malt backbone.
Mouthfeel: Grainy but not harsh. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
Overall: Not what I was expecting for a NEIPA, but that's not a bad thing.

Hazy and with some floating chunks. Pours a nice tight bubbled head with good retention.

A soft fruity hoppiness in the aroma, and a bit of piney, but not very distinctively aromatic for the style.

Has a fruity sweetness up front, and turns a bit more earthy and piney midmouth. No distinct bitterness on the backend, but does finish drying and hoppy

MF - highly carbonated, and has a slight burn going down. Very slightly warming? Mouthfeel really hurts this beer.

I think would drink better with less carbonation. The hops aren't terribly exciting to my palate. Not bad, just not for me.
