We got with our pals at Crooked Crab to create a multidimensional collab that takes many forms. Our version was built on a base of pils, 2-row, vienna, and oats, then steeped with rosehips and hibiscus and hopped with Citra and Mosaic. We double dry-hopped it with even more Citra and Mosaic plus Simcoe and Triumph, then conditioned the whole thing on a mountain of strawberry, apricot, and Madagascar vanilla beans. Heavy notes of berries and juicy citrus in the nose, with a shapeshifting flavor that transforms from fruit to hops to vanilla and back again.

16 oz can poured into a tulip pint glass. Aroma and flavor feature strawberry, sweet vanilla, and floral/citrus hops. Too sweet, pretty simple, and a bit flat. Overall, not a great or even very good milkshake IPA.

Undated can into pint glass. Pours a very hazy gold with lots of floatie chunks. No lacing to speak of. Initial impression is heavy fruit (grapefruit, mango, apricot, orange, berries - you name it, it's in there). Mouthfeel is medium chewy. Finish is slightly bitter. Overall, I think this one is trying to do too much and as a result ends up a bit of a mess. I'm always a little leery of collabs.
