In light of the season, a gift: we present Spontaneous Deviations, our new line of here-and-gone beers. This deep rich lager is built on a base of Vienna and Pilsner, then fortified with Munich, Chocolate, Melanoidin, and Carafa malts. Fermented to dryness and left to think things over in one of our horizontal lagering vessels for two full months. Aromas of brown sugar and Irish cream give way to notes of rich dark bread, sticky toffee, and deep raisiny fig. Spontaneous Deviations. Because we just felt like it.

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. I love a good dark lager and this beer checks all the boxes - bready, pumpernickel, light earthy/citrusy hops, hints of coffee, caramel, and chocolate. Easy-drinking but not too thin or light. I wish I had more!
