Released from a tap, into a clear pint glass it came. There's a very modest white head, that's the way we pour beer in Philly. The aroma is especially sweet and malty, with a hoppy backing. The color is basically just amber, maybe toward the dark side of it. There's a super smooth introduction to the mouth, then some general hoppiness that never bitters. The hint of alcohol only compliments the overall taste. Abundant stratified glass lacing bears witness to its supple body. This one is rich in flavor and smooth to drink, especially for its ABV. It's a good beer, regardless of category.
