On tap at the brewery, taster glass. Beer was suggested by the server at the brewery's tap room.
I felt compelled to rate this and explain the flavor profile because this beer was so unique.
Even though it's description says "strong ale" its got a light/medium brown color with really nice clarity. The description that the brewery gives you makes you think "no way it tastes like that". They say something about coconut and caramel. Well it ends up delivering a really nice, dry coconut flavor which adds really solid diversity to your typical strong ale. Stone has somewhat defined this style with Arrogant Bastard. This is nothing like that, although if stone made AB with coconut, it would be awesome.
Overall I really enjoyed this beer and was definitely the highlight of my tasting. Dont take my review as an over-hyping of the beer but if you go definitely try it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
