On tap for The Bruery Sucreversary held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.
Described as Kratos on Lemonheads candy.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, lemon candy, and lemon zest aromas. Taste is much the same with lemon zest and lemon candy flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting use of Lemonheads candy that works with the base beer.
