a: darkness with hints of brown shining through lights, moderate brown head
s: had to really sniff this one out, but get roasted sweetness -- chocolate, malts, caramel?
t: toffee chocolate sweetness with highly complementary roasted malts
m: much more carbonation than expected, but in a very good way. small bubbles make for a brew with nice heft and body to it
o: surprising brew. server said this was a higher carbonated version of the usual (which i haven't had) and i think it came out really well. would jump at the chance to have again

On tap at Bru Grill & Market in Lake Forest.
A: Pours black with a thin (1/4") mocha head which doesn't seem nitrogen delivered due to the thinness and short lasting head which fades quickly to the rim and only leaving a few spots of lace.
N: Dark chocolate and cocoa with dark roasted malts.
T: Mostly follows the nose with chocolate and malt dominant.
M: Moderate body and light carbonation. Roasty cocoa finish with slight bitterness.
O: Nothing remarkable here. An Imperial Chocolate Porter on nitro should be much more than this.
