Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip.
Appearance: silvery-golden hue with a light haze and a moderate effervescence. Head is a thin layer of frothy white foam. Reminds me a lot of a witbier.
Smell: lightly sour with a definite wheaty aroma. The bottle doesn't say it is oaked but there are some oak-like vanilla notes here as well. Not too bad!
Taste: quite sour indeed with a refreshing wheaty malt and some of those vanilla notes again. I think the flavor works better than the aroma -- the sourness is bright up front and then laid-back toward the end. Good stuff!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess.
Overall: I rather like this beer! It's sour but not overwhelming, and quite drinkable.
