Lively foam-up in the big chalice. Quite lovely after if settles down. Club soda mouthfeel with-- oh, it's Fizzies, the flavor tablets you dropped in your water in the early 1960s. Fruity and metallic.
More than a little funky and quite sweet. It's an orange soda with a dry finish. Aromatics are kind of rank. I don't think I have had a brew that reminded me so much of a whiff of horse manure on the trail. A saccharine bitterness with the orange flavor.
The combination of sugary fruit and the barnyard is a little squirmy. A totally bizarre beer that takes Belgians into another galaxy, far from here. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynwood.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a cloudy pale yellow amber with a nice two finger white head with good retention and lacing. Classic witbier aroma of wheat, yeast, lemon and coriander spicing. Flavor follows with sweet wheat, orange, coriander and a hint of citrus hops. Finishes with sweet stone fruit juice, lemon and spicing. Light to medium bodied. A refreshing and pleasant take on the witbier style. Leads me to want to try other offerings from this new small brewery.
