Globe; bomber. Even though this beer was a couple of months old when I had it (I had it twice), it was still an exceptional DIPA.

Hazy orange color. Excellent head retention and leaves a dense patch of lacing with each sip. Flavor is sweet and juicy with a pungent oily hop. Dense, sticky body. Solid.

This is a clear amber colored brew. The head is small, white, and leaves an attractive lace. The aroma is earthy, with a bit of fruit and grass. Grain, bitterness, and a malt-forward flavor are notable in the taste. Lots of boozy notes. Warming, full in body, and enjoyable.

This is one of the better beers from Excel, although it could be better. It's still just a little unbalanced like a lot of their beers. It has a sticky sweetness that is disagreeable.

A - 4.5 - Look is clear golden / amber color with a nice two finger white head that sticks and leaves great lacing
S - 4.75 - Pretty effin dank, definitely has a pungent weed kind of smell to it, accompanied by pineapple, mango and papaya. It reminds me of what I remember La Cumbre's Elevated IPA being like.
T - 4.5 - More grapefruit, citrus rind on the taste at first, with pineapple and mango too. The dankness is there in the middle of the mouth when you stop to appreciate it.
M - 4.5 - Light mouthfeel, alc completely covered at 10% ABV. Aftertaste is bitter grapefruit and citrus peel.
O - 4.5 - Bottled on the 254th day of 2015, which is Sep 11th. Drank on 11/29/2015. This beer is holding up significantly well for being over 2 months old. My guess is when this is less than a month old it would blow me out of the water. I would buy this again. One downside - bomber was about 9 dollars, would rather see a six pack for 10 dollars.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pt 6 oz bomber on November 20, 2015. Smell is citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is big juicy citrus and tropical fruit flavors with sweet malt notes. Feel is medium in body with a smooth finish.

Poured from the bottle a bright clear gold with a healthy three finger head.
Big aroma of tropical fruits and pineapple.
Tasted of tropical fruits, pineapple, fresh-cut grass, and a bit of green onion.
Light-to-medium bodied with a moderate carbonation.
I liked this IIPA from Excel. Not great but quite solid.
