Dark brown in color with a very murky complexion. There’s a fingernail of brown around three quarters of the rim and covering two thirds of the top. There’s plenty of whiskey and earthy, spicy rye in the nose. I’m tasting a wallop of bready, earthy rye and slightly boozy whiskey. The mouth is thick and sticky with a boozy warming of the throat.
