Poured from a 16 oz can purchased at the brewery in Henniker. Pours light brown with minimal head. Tastes of smoky malt with subtle chocolate - very subtle - and burnt tones. Slight bitter hops. Low abv... very appealing. Advertised as American Wild Ale

16 oz can from Bert's
Slightly hazy deep copper color with a small but long lasting frothy off white head. Rich toasty bread and light caramel on the nose with a hint of earthy hop. Flavor follow the aroma quite well. Clean easy to drink toasty caramel beer, I like it!

From the 16 oz. can with a best by date that looks like Jan 25, 2019. Sampled on September 29, 2018.
Attractive chestnut amber-brown pour with a soft cream colored head that laves some lacing on the glass.
A lovely malt forward character in the aroma with esters of caramel, toffee, and molasses. Little to no hop profile.
The body is surprisingly chewy and better than medium.
A very sweet tasting beer that is malt forward. The bitterness is mild to moderate but does not linger. It has a dryer finish. This was very easy to drink all around.
