Great, refreshing beer! Subtle sour notes combined with effervescent (?) hops. Translucent straw colored appearance with plenty of tiny bubbles. A solid thirst quenching beer on a hot day. Worth seeking out.

Best before 12/09/20
Pours a med fizzy fluffy head med retention, little lacing, hazy straw color
Nose light floral citrusy hops, light sweet malt, pilsner malt and doughy, faint fruity esters, melon notes
Taste is quite nice, floral noble hops out front, then citrus and melon, light bitterness, grainy sweet pilsner malts, touch doughy soft lager and touch of leftover proteins, drier finish, soft, med light bitterness, more floral citrus and melon hop notes lingering
Mouth is med bod, soft lager, med fizzy carb
Overall a nice dry hopped lager, soft with little Keller notes, nice easy drinking beer

Can from the Packie.
Just a touch of haze in this dark yellow elixir with a tightly bubbled white head that shows moderate retention. Crackery bready pilsner maltiness with a crisp earthy floral grassy hop to counter. A hint on the bitter side for the style, but I enjoyed it.

The CANQuest (tm) is back for New Tying Up Loose Ends Beer Sunday, Redux (Week 760)! I am going to see "Hustlers" this afternoon so I wanted to get an early start. This one takes us back, in the TARDIS, to Week 733.
From the CAN: "Draw. Sip. Glide. Repeat. That's how we paddle the Contoocook. It's not the fastest way but with a cooler full of lager, we think it's the best way. In that spirit, we bring you this Keller style Pilsner that's been dry hopped with Huell Melon and Mandarina Bavaria. When it comes to picking your boat buddy, pick Slow Paddler."
I CANducted some pre-Crack! in-CAN agitation before the actual event, but nothing untoward occurred during the actual Crack! so I proceeded with a heavy-handed Glug. This resulted in just better than a finger of foamy, soapy, roiling bone-white head that quickly fizzed its way into wisps. Color was Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2) with NE-quality clarity. 8=O Normally, that might be good, but NOT in this style! 8=( Nose smelled like a GER Pils, very much malt-driven with biscuit overtones. Mmm. Mouthfeel was thin & watery with a light, ethereal presence in the mouth. Such is par for this course. The taste remained malt-forward, very biscuity with a hint of CANtaloupe and/or honeydew. Mmm. Finish was semi-dry & highly refreshing. Summer is winding down, but this would be a great CANned beer to put in your beach-bound cooler next Summer! YMMV.
