Copenhagen 26/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Gift pack brought by my in-laws. Orange variant of Klosterbryggeriet' s usual design.
Pours slightly hazy orange with small white head. Settles as lonely island of thin foam. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma has solid malty backbone with strong hints of sweetness. But the hops are in there as well revealing a rough bitterness. Bread and grains. Citrus, grass. Slightly herbal.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft texture. Flavor has fairly strong sweetness. Followed by slightly weaker bitterness. A little rough but not unpleasant. Aftertaste is bitter sweet. Lingering.
A bit on the sweet side for a beer with the word "Hops" in the name. But not unpleasant.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 5.2%. Some sediment in the bottle. Deep golden to orange colour, hazy when the yeast is poured in. Large cream-coloured head. Nice aroma of fruity and resinous hops, hints of elderflowers and caramel. The flavour is medium sweet and fairly refreshing, some caramel and hints of orange marmalade, moderate resinous hops, hints of elderflowers. Decent beer.
