Copenhagen 4/1 2026. 50 cl bottle from Drinksshoppen, Rødovre Centrum, Rødovre. Simple black label with name of the beer and brewery in white letters and a crude and simple symbol.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable Settles as a 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and roasted odor with a touch of butter. Light tart notes. Dark roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Citrus and sour grains. Dark alcohol lurking.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness.. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A Black IPA with some inspiration from an English Stout.

Shared 500 ml bottle. Very dark brown to black colour, low beige head. Moderately roasty aroma with notes of syrup and honey. Sweet flavour with notes of syrup and honey. Not my favourite this one.
