Copenhagen 17/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Gift Pack brought by my In-Laws. Dark blue label with a lot of gold. Made to look expensive. But then again it’s a tenth Anniversary beer.
Pours hazy orange with small white head. Stable. Settles as vey thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and boozy odor. Banana, sugar, fermented fruit and a solid dose of alcohol. An undercurrent of something a little sharp and sourish.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, oily yet lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is rather sweet. Followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and boozy with a sourish notes.
A bit sharp and boozy - but it slowly grew on me.
