Kellerbier at 2.7%. Suitable as a lunch beer. Despite the low alcohol percentage, the fine flavor notes from the beer's various organic hop varieties stand out nicely.

Hirtshals 13/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Ostemanden, Nørregade, Hirtshals. Klosterbryggeriets usial design with a gold coin and what looks like a abstract art from the seventies. In green this time.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely able to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light malty, sweet odor mingling with a moderately strong citric scent. Sweet pale malts, cardboard, bread. Light citrus peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and dry. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
A bit austere for a beer that is called a Kellerbier. But decently bitter and with a pretty good intensity for a low alcohol beer.
