Copenhagen 9/9 2018. 50 cl bottle from Gift pack brought by my In-laws. Usual Klosterbryggeriet label design. This time in light green.
Pours slightly hazy, amber with medium-sized head. Settles as thin layer barely covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is surprisingly sourish and quite boozy. Sweet malts, light caramel, grains, bread. Strong sharp sourish notes. Metallic alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft texture.
Flavor is quite sweet. Followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a solid alcoholic burn.
A bit to the boozy side for a Bière de Garde. If the Farm hands drank this during their break they would be reeling around the corn rows.
