Copenhagen 19/5 2016. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. A white tree on the label - which is kind of confusing when you call a beer "Blue Tree Pale Ale".
Pours hazy orange with a white head which disappears almost upon pouring. Leaving only patches of foam floating around. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and a bit lemonadelike. Some tart and acidic notes. Fruity and citric.
Medium carbonation and watery palate. Thin and lively texture.
Flavor is balanced between lemonade sweetness and fruity tartness. Aftertaste is bitter sour with a weird sweet slightly chemical tang.
Refreshing, well balanced - and without any distracting complications. But not much else than a thirst quencher.
